Children & Young Persons Care Co-Ordinator

What is the Children & Young Persons Care Co-Ordinator?

To ensure the younger population can keep physically and emotionally healthy, the Bexhill PCN (Primary Care Network) has created the role of the Children and Young Persons Care Coordinator (CYPCC).

The CYPCC helps children, young people, adolescents and their families access the best local care for their individual needs. By working closely with local authorities, GP’s, specialists, schools, colleges, youth clubs and community centres, the CYPCC can make sure you are in touch with all the right people.

Useful Tips

Below is a series of pre-recorded webinars for parent and carers. The topics cover a range of difficulties that young people may be experiencing.  Experience of such difficulties does not always mean that your child needs to be referred to CAMHS.

Each workshop gives an overview of a specific difficulty and also some hints and tips on how young people can be supported.  There are also links to some resources that you may find helpful, either while you are waiting for CAMHS treatment, or as an alternative to CAMHS.

We hope you find these useful.
